Hi there. Please familiarize yourself with our Terms & Conditions before signing up for Poop Scoop Dude® service.

How do I pay?

We have a client portal where payment is processed. If you haven't signed up through the instant quote button on our website, we'll create an account for you after you speak with a representative from Poop Scoop Dude. We'll send your login info to your email. The sign-up process is quick, taking less than two minutes. In your portal, you'll have access to all paid invoices, cleanup history, and you can link your credit/debit card securely. We accept only credit or debit card payments. Once linked, we'll generate and charge invoices automatically, sending you receipts. Invoices are issued 1-3 days before the month ends. By enrolling in our services, you consent to having your card charged as outlined in these terms.

Note: Your card must be linked to your account before we arrive. If not, we'll try to contact you. If we can't reach you, we'll reschedule for the next available slot, which might be weeks away depending on the season. Failure to maintain a valid linked card by the 4th will incur a $15 administrative fee and immediate suspension will occur on the 1st until resolved. Do you bill monthly?

Yes: Billing occurs on the 1st of each month for services provided. Payments are due on the 1st, and services must be prepaid each month. All clients are required to have a card on file. Your monthly rate is determined by multiplying your weekly rate by 52 weeks and dividing by 12 months, ensuring a consistent rate regardless of whether the month has 4 or 5 weeks.

Initial or one-time cleanups: Payment is due on the day of your cleanup.

Note: If you are on a bi-weekly or once-per-month cleanup plan, you will be billed for the following month's services on the day of the initial cleanup.

For Recurring Services

An initial cleanup is required for weekly and bi-weekly recurring services to prepare the yard, with the fee payable on the day of the first visit. This includes waste removal plus complimentary sanitizing and disinfecting of the yard. On your first cleanup, we'll charge for the initial cleanup plus pro-rated charges for the rest of the month. Then, you're set for monthly billing on the 1st.

Example:

Jane signed up for bi-weekly services starting on 1/15/2025. She pays $90 monthly for weekly cleanups. The initial cleanup rate is $150. On 1/15/2025, she will be billed:

  • Initial Cleanup: $150
  • Remainder of January Cleanups (1/30/2025): $45
  • Total: $195

Next Payments to Be Processed:

  • 2/1/2025: $90 (Recurring Cleanups)
  • 3/1/2025: $90 (Recurring Cleanups)
  • 4/1/2025: $90 (Recurring Cleanups)

Late Payment Policy

Payments are due on the 1st of each month and services must be prepaid. If payment isn't received by the 1st, services will be suspended immediately, and you'll be removed from the schedule until all outstanding balances (monthly rate plus any fees) are paid in full. A $30 late fee will be charged if payment is overdue by 10 days (the 11th of the month). A $60 resumption fee will be applied on the 11th if suspension exceeds 10 days due to increased workload, such as excessive waste accumulation, whether or not service resumes. Monthly services are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-month (see Suspension and Termination below), service will continue through the end of the prepaid month only if all balances are paid. Failure to pay all balances within 10 days of suspension or termination will result in termination of services and immediate referral to collections if unpaid after 20 days total. Clients are responsible for all collection costs, including agency fees and legal expenses.

What time will you be at my home?

We can't specify exact times due to route optimization for efficiency. Our routes run from 7 am until dark. You'll receive a text about 60 minutes before we arrive, or 15-30 minutes if you're at the start of our route. Your cleanup day remains consistent weekly, with advance notice if it changes.

Do I have to be home when you clean?

No, but ensure easy gate access. We can clean with pets in the yard if they're friendly. Once done, we'll send a photo of your closed gate to your email for records.

Note: If you're home and want to introduce your dogs to our team, please inform us beforehand to avoid startling anyone. If any dogs are known to be aggressive or unsafe, it's your responsibility to remove or secure them during the scheduled service time. Failure to do so may result in a skipped service, with no refund issued. Multiple violations may lead to cancellation of services. Obstructions or locked gates will still incur the regular fee due to increased workload on the next visit.

Do you disinfect your equipment?

Yes, with an organic, kennel-grade disinfectant to prevent germ spread.

Do You Take The Waste Away?

We don't take waste away due to volume and logistics, but we'll place it in your outdoor trash or double/triple bag it for disposal by your gate. We handle only solid waste; diarrhea or waste indicating health issues will not be managed, and we'll advise you to seek veterinary care if necessary.

Service Area Conditions

Clear visibility is essential for effective cleaning. Areas obscured by overgrowth, debris, or obstacles posing safety risks (e.g., under trampolines or in dense underbrush) may not be fully serviced, and you'll be notified of such conditions.

As the client, you are responsible for:

What Happens If my Service Day is on a Holiday?

If your service day falls on a holiday, we'll skip that week and do a double cleanup the next week, charging for both weeks due to accumulated waste. We are closed from Christmas Day to New Year's Day, and the fee for the following service will remain unchanged.

Inclement Weather

Hazardous or impossible conditions due to weather may delay scheduled cleanups. We'll service your yard as soon as possible once conditions improve. If we miss a visit due to severe weather, you'll be charged for that week, and we'll provide double service the following week. If cancellation occurs due to staff illness or unforeseen circumstances, you'll be exempt from payment for that week.

Text Messages

By providing your mobile number and initiating service, you consent to receive text (SMS) messages from Poop Scoop Dude for announcements, visit reminders, service updates, and promotional offers. You may opt out at any time by replying "STOP" to any message.

Additional Terms

Liability

We assume no liability for damages to yards, gates, pets, or other property unless due to our negligence. We are fully licensed and insured.

Rate Changes

Fees and promotions may change periodically to account for inflation or business growth. You'll receive at least 1 month's notice in writing via mail and email of any rate adjustments.

Suspension and Termination

To pause services, provide 24-hour written notice; to terminate, provide at least one week's written notice via email to PoopScoopDudeLV@gmail.com. No refunds are issued for partial months. Unpaid balances (including monthly rates and fees) are due within 10 days of suspension or termination. Failure to pay within 10 days will result in account closure and immediate referral to collections if unpaid after 20 days total. Clients are responsible for all collection costs, including agency fees and legal expenses. We may pause operations for personal time or vacations, prorating your fees and providing at least 2 weeks' notice, with reminders the week prior and upon resumption.

Data Usage

Poop Scoop Dude uses collected data to operate our business, analyze performance, and maintain our 5-star service. By accepting these terms, you consent to us using your information for advertising and marketing, including promotional communications and targeted ads.
